Prakhar Srivastava is a fourth year mechanical engineering student, who likes to stay involved on campus. He served as a Learning Assistance Program tutor with the Department of Housing, and has been an active member of Pi Tau Sigma (ME Honor Society) at Georgia Tech. Prakhar has been involved in undergraduate research at the ME department for nearly two years now having worked in multiple research topics - utilizing computer-aided design techniques for electronics packaging; and underwater acoustics.
During his time at Georgia Tech, Prakhar has participated in two international internships. He worked on Fuel Cells as an R&D intern with Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) in Hyderabad, India during his sophomore year. Last year, he also worked as a research intern with Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp. (NTT) in Tokyo, Japan on a project in acoustics and impulse response measurements.
